This episode looks at the recent raids by the Australian Federal Police on offices and homes associated with the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (aka CFMEU).
It looks at the increasing criminalisation of the trade union movement, tracing it back through the AFP’s Trade Union Taskforce and the 2014 Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption.
Includes a list of the many ‘crimes’ uncovered in the RC. (Tune in later in the week to compare this to recent Liberal National Party shenanigans.)
